Diana Lynn Quam

MADISON - Diana Lynn Quam, age 58, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at her home. She was born on May 14, 1963, in Madison, the daughter of James Parnell and Elizabeth (Probelsky) Parnell. She married David Quam on Oct.11, 1986, in Madison. Diana graduated from cosmetology school and in addition to being a cosmetologist, for many years she provided daycare for many children who she treated as if they were her own. In her free time, Diana enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, shopping online, gardening and snuggling with her pets. Diana is survived by her husband, David; son, Tommy (Nicki) Quam; daughters, Faith Quam and Ashli (Mikey) Johnson; grandchildren, Elena Johnson, Kaelynn Johnson and McKenna Quam; and brothers, Michael Parnell and Mark (Alice) Parnell. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 21, 2021. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the family.
