SUN PRAIRIE - Donald Bernard Brusveen, age 66, of Sun Prairie, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He was born on June 8, 1955, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, the son of Raymond Brusveen and Wilhamenia (Winkers) Brusveen.
Donald graduated from Middleton High School in 1974. As a teenager, he worked for neighboring farms, sparking his desire to have his own farm, which he did for several years. He also worked for Marshall Erdman & Associates.
Donnie was greatly limited by his blindness, however that did not affect his positive attitude and sense of humor. He was kind and tried to please everyone. He would always end his conversations with, “May God be with you.” It is comforting to know that he is with God now and he can SEE His glorious face.
Donald is survived by two brothers, his twin, Ronald (Sue) Brusveen of Dalton and Dennis (Sue) Brusveen of Pardeeville; two sisters, Verna Hillenbrand of Spring Green and Charlotte (Lynn) Holton of Friesland; sister-in-law, Jane Brusveen; and nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Burnell Brusveen; and brother-in-law, James Hillebrand.
Services will be private.
