Carolyn Burkhardt

LODI - Carolyn (Miller) Burkhardt was called home on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021. Carrie retired from Kohl's payroll department. She and dad moved to Cedar Community’s Cedar Ridge Senior Living, where she lived for 14 years. She was always up for any type of fun, from making snow angels to a hopping Easter bunny. She also enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. She loved watching birds, especially hummingbirds and cardinals. Carrie loved life to its fullest and she laughed often. Carolyn is survived by her children, Lynn (Dean) Connor, Steve Burkhardt, Jan (Don) Fariss and Katie (John) Durbin; and an estranged son and family. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Burkhardt; brother, Bill Miller; and sister, Marcia Dwyer. Private family services will be held.
