Lee Henry Schiesser

SUN PRAIRIE - Lee H. Schiesser passed away at the age of 75 on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021. He was born in Algoma, WI., the son of the late Harvey and Leola (Mickelson) Schiesser. After graduating from Algoma High School, Lee attended U.W. River Falls, earning his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and agriculture. Lee was employed with Dow Chemical before being drafted and proudly serving his country with the U.S. Navy. After his honorable discharge, Lee attended U.W. Madison obtaining his master's degree in accounting. He then became a certified public accountant working for the State of Wisconsin until retiring in 2009. Lee had a variety of interests including working around his home, repairing and improving the electrical and plumbing, and gardening. Lee is survived by his children, Nicole and Nathan Schiesser; his friend and ex-wife, Lorraine Yarbrough; and other relatives and many friends.
