Click on tribute wall (above) and click on "Live Webcast" MADISON, Wis. / FORT MYERS, Fla. - Keith LaVere Stich passed from us in Fort Myers, Fla., on Nov. 2, 2020. He was born in Madison, Wis., on May 5, 1930, Cinco de Mayo and enjoyed a full 90 years of life. After graduation from Madison East High School, he married his forever love, Joyce, who survives him and they began an adventurous life together touching the lives of so many families, neighbors, and friends. Keith was very industrious in his work life having held positions at National Guardian Life Insurance, First National Investment Bank, Madison Appliance Parts Sales and Service, and during his last 15 years as a Production Assistant at Chico’s FSA Inc. Even his hobbies and interests became productive. His love of music led to membership as a drummer/musician in Madison area bands (The Terrible Four, Frances McMahon’s Shamrock Band, The Wally Stebbins Orchestra and Jerry Stich Bands). He was a vocalist with Madison’s Trinity Lutheran Church Choir having toured Europe. He turned his hobby of photography into a wedding photo business. He and Joyce were the originators and owners of the Stang Wirth Gift House in Madison having turned this historic home into a successful retail business. In his spare time, he became an accomplished private pilot and loved riding his Indian Motorcycle. With the help of family members, Keith traced his genealogy to the Mayflower Descendants and was a member of the Society. Keith was the loving son of predeceased parents, Walter and Marcia Stich. Brother to surviving siblings, Jean (Carl-passed away January 2021) Lindenlaub and Jerry (Carol) Stich; caring father to Michael (Kathy) Stich, Tarisse Stich-Olson (David Olson, predeceased), and David Stich. He was an attentive grandfather to Chad (Tara) Stich, Karisa (Jon) Skiba, Brittney Louther, Alisa (Brandon) Major and Brian Thorpe. He was also very proud of his seven great-grandchildren, Jake, Kamryn, Kaitlyn, Benjamin, Joshua, Samuel, and Liam. Uncle Keith as he was known was much beloved by his nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1904 Winnebago St., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021. A visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021. The memorial service will be Live Streamed. The link will be added when available.
