AnnaRae MacDonald

McFarland - AnnaRae MacDonald, age 93, of McFarland, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021. She was born on Feb. 15, 1928, in Coon Valley, Wis., the daughter of Charlie Johnson and Ragna (Blihovde) Johnson. AnnaRae graduated from Westby High School. She married Willis E. MacDonald in 1959 in Westby, Wis. Prior to retirement, AnnaRae worked many years as a bookkeeper for Woodman’s in Janesville. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, golf, water and snow skiing, knitting, needlepoint, bridge club, fishing and boating. She loved spending time at the family cottage on Lake Waubesa. She was a member of the Janesville Chapter of the Questers, Stoughton Needlepoint Club and was a member of First Lutheran Church in Janesville. AnnaRae is survived by her son, Todd MacDonald (Jennifer Sonnentag); daughter, Kristin Schoon; grandchild, Deanna Schoon; and sister, Catherine Schlicht. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Willis. Memorials in AnnaRae’s memory may be gifted to Agrace Foundation.
