Dearest Friends and Family, It is our intent that Missy's children have an account from which to draw from as their educational needs demand. I have faith that our community of friends and family will rise up in unity to help. We have formed a committee to fairly allocate funds and appreciate any donation you are able to provide as Missy was without a steady source of income at the time of her passing. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Grant and Tessa's mom, Missy Pulvermacher Virgin, at home on the evening of September 27th after minor surgery. Grant and Olivia have been dating for three and a half years and it was without hesitation that Ken and I have accepted Power of Attorney for Grant, as such we are his legal guardians. He has been part of our family traditions and adventures for quite some time, and we look forward to many more. We know our friends and family would like to support Grant and his sister Tess during this difficult time. Ken and I feel compelled to support Missy's teenagers as they consider their future educational expenses, as well as fund small memorial keepsakes for each child to hold the ashes of their mother. I worked with Missy at Oakwood Village, she was always so sweet and nice to talk with. Sorry for your loss to her entire family.

I was shocked to read Missy’s obituary as I was looking through the paper reading my Father’s obituary!!! Missy and I became good friends right away when I worked in Portage at the Family Resource Center. She did spread sunshine wherever she went!!! She came to visit me last summer and we sat by the lake and talked for hours, and we were going to get together for another visit because I hadn’t seen the kids in awhile! Give Grant and Tessa hugs from me!! She was a beautiful person, inside and out! My condolences to the entire family!! -Amberly Farber
