Obituary
OREGON - Donna Jean Georgeson, age 92, of Oregon, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, at Sienna Meadows. She was born on Aug. 2, 1930, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of George and Lillian (Christopherson) Brown.
Donna attended Central High School. She married Harold "Sparky" Georgeson on Sept. 9, 1948, in Madison.
In her free time, Donna loved crocheting, growing beautiful flowers in her garden, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed music, and especially loved dancing to polkas. She loved all holidays, though Christmas was her favorite, and enjoyed spending them with family. Donna was a very ambitious person who truly loved being a grandma.
Donna is survived by her children, Cindy (Dwight) Small, Jerry (Sandy) Georgeson, Lin (Fred) Curran, Kim (Brett Wedekind) Georgeson and Tim (Buffy) Georgeson; daughter-in-law, Mary Watson; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold “Sparky” Georgeson; and her son, Thomas.
A Celebration of Donna’s life will be held in the spring of 2023.
