Will never forget the fishing experience Roland and I had in 1987 after I bought new boat. While fishing in lake Mendota on sunny afternoon and not catching any fish we both got so tired so we just fell asleep in bottom of boat for an hour. Surprised no one called police from seeing an empty boat in middle of the lake. We always laughed about that fishless memory. Rest in peace dear friend.

Roland was a great partner while working as a volunteer at the Restore West. After working on and off together Roland found out my last name and it was determined his son and my husband knew each other and each others family. I was very sad when I found out Roland was sick and when he passed. Prayers for Roland and his family.

My condolences to the family of Roland Rosenkranz. I was an accountant at Rayovac for many years and had the good fortune of working with Roland on many projects. He was an excellent industrial engineer. In spite of time pressures, he would always come through with the requested information. Roland was perceptive, and offered very good advise. He also had a wonderful, dry sense of humor which I enjoyed immensely, sharing many laughs. It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with Roland, may he rest in peace. Mike Thompson

Roland, Gisala, Linda and I went to get something to eat before we went to a Peter, Paul, and Mary consert in lake Delton long time ago. Being a 4 lane street by hotel we were returning to hotel, Roland had to step on to get into parking lot, but before he could see her in driveway he was able to hit his brakes. This her (lady) was Mary of the famous trio. He almost made it a duo singing group that day. I loved picking on him for years about that, all he did was crack a smile, never a huge laugh. They were his favorite group too.
