LaVonne Nancy Schneeberger

Oregon - LaVonne Schneeberger, age 74, of Oregon, passed away on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wis. She was born on Aug. 22, 1947, in Monroe, Wis., the daughter of Gilbert Disch and Rose (Bigler) Disch. LaVonne grew up in Monticello, Wis., and was a graduate from Monticello High School in 1965. On June 17, 1967, LaVonne married Roger Schneeberger. They moved to Oregon, Wis., where they started their family. Prior to retirement, LaVonne spent 20 years working at the Department of Revenue for the State of Wisconsin. Most important to LaVonne was spending as much time as she could with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved family getaways and vacations and attending her grandchildren’s school and sporting events. She always looked forward to the day trips and celebrations with her longtime friends known affectionately as the Birthday Girls. Her infectious laugh, smile, and kindness will be forever missed. LaVonne is survived by her husband, Roger; sons, Allen (Lynne) Schneeberger and Eric (Stephanie Haacke) Schneeberger; daughter, Dena (John) Schimming; grandsons, Jared Schneeberger, Trenton Schneeberger and Gable Schimming; and granddaughters, Mackenzie Schimming and Cora Schimming. LaVonne is further survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by parents; brother, Gilbert (Karen) Disch Jr.; and nephews, T.J. Disch and Geno Schneeberger Jr. Visitation will be held at Gunderson Oregon Funeral AND Cremation Care, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Town of Dunn Burying Ground.
