Patricia McCollough

MADISON - Patricia Anne McCollough, age 55, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021. She was born on March 11, 1966, in Madison, the daughter of John McCollough and Roberta (Devine) Wagner. Patty graduated from LaFollette High School, with the class of 1984. Following high school, she lived in Tampa Bay, Fla., for several years before eventually returning home to be closer to her family. When Patty was 27, she met Bob Lesch and three years later they started a family together. Patty was a loving mother and made their home a warm and welcoming environment to all of Brianna’s childhood friends. Patty worked as a lunch lady at MMSD and as a server and/or manager for Lums, Cottage Cafe and Barbers Bay Resort. For the last several years of Patty’s life, she provided in-home care for her mother, Roberta. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life: crafts, knitting, crocheting and caring for children. Patty was very proud of her daughter, Brianna, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Patty was the type of person who’s smile would light up a room. She had a big heart to help everyone who crossed her path and was always filled with contagious joy. Patricia is survived by, her mother, Roberta Wagner; husband, Bob Lesch; daughter, Brianna (Levi) Boston-Kemple; brother, Tim McCollough; nephew, Nathan McCollough; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John McCollough; and brother, Craig McCollough. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 2 p.m., on Monday, Sept. 27, 2021.
