James C. Cox

OREGON-James Clifton Cox, age 72, of Oregon, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born on Nov. 3, 1948, in Madison, the son of Clifton and Marvalene (Morgan) Cox. James married Mary (Sundby) Cox on Oct. 21, 1995. James worked in the janitorial business where he took pride in his work for many years at Shopko. He loved going to car shows and seeing all of the classic cars, building guitars, singing karaoke and knowing all the ins and outs of Disney World. James was always very caring and very helpful to family and friends. Most of all he loved being a husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed time spent with his family. James is survived by daughter, Lisa (Craig) Danowski; two sons, Jeff (Nicole Heaps) Ihle and Mark (Samantha Dates) Cox; grandchildren, Novalee, Danica, Nariah, Eugene, Ashlyn, Dakota, Dayton, Lilly, Nylee, Taylor and Cody; sister, Ann (Vito) Capadona; former wife, Lori Moore; and nieces and nephews.
