Mr. Stoddard was my middle school principal in the 1970s. He was such a kind man, and a fair leader. He was respected by all of us pre-teens, which is quite a feat! Sorry for your loss, and condolences to the family.

I did not know Donald, but he sounded like an incredible person. He certainly made his mark on the world. Enjoy all the memories you have. Bless you all.

Don Stoddard was a genuine good guy. He was kind. He was always positive with a smile on his face. Don and I shared similar careers in the Madison Metropolitan School District. He was my "Cooperating Teacher" at Marquette Elementary School in 1961. Don was an outstanding educator as a classroom teacher, an Elementary School Principal, and a Middle School Principal. He was bright, intelligent, had a wide array of interests. Don knew about a lot of stuff. He & Nancy very successfully raised three kids to be outstanding people and adults, Jeff, Jerry and Jennifer are fine tributes to Don & Nancy. With Don's passing, Ginger & I lost a very dear life-long friend. Rollie Willan
