Monica M Herritz

MADISON - Monica M. Herritz, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, in her home. She was born on Oct. 6, 1936, in Rhinelander, Wis., the daughter of Theodore Collins and Hilda (Rowley) Collins-Hoggard. Monica married Willard Everett Herritz on Nov. 26, 1955, in Lyons Church of God, West Baraboo, Sauk County. She was employed at Valley Bank as an operation specialist for many years until her retirement in 1996. Monica loved to travel abroad and throughout the United States. She loved Southeast Asia, with their content and relaxed lifestyle. Monica is survived by daughter, Lynne Elaine Waggoner; two grandchildren, Cassandra Lynne Phillips and Ted William Waggoner; three great-grandchildren, Daeja Pope, Latrell Debrow and Xavier Allen; brother, Frank Collins; half-brother, Bill Hoggard; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Willard; son-in-law, John Waggoner; sisters, Dawn Collins, Lorraine Kemplin and June (Don) Silvers; brothers, David Collins and Thomas Collins; half-brother, Lonnie Hoggard; sisters-in-law, Judy Collins and Marlene Collins; and significant other, Louis Petz.
