With deepest sympathy,

I recently saw Greg outside of the library while I was driving by. When I realized who it was, my heart warmed and a smile came to my face. I now wish that I’d taken the time to stop and chat with him a bit. Such a gem. He made a difference. My sympathy to you all.

Greg was always such a joy to be around! He had a huge smile for everyone, and he was an uplifting person to be around. He will be deeply missed in Lodi. Thanks for everything, Greg!

So sorry to hear about Greg’s passing. I taught with Greg at Lodi until his retirement and had many fun times in “The Swamp”-just a table in the teachers lounge- but much more than that as Greg made it a place where staff could get away for a few minutes which as a teacher is so important for mental health. Greg Davis was an interesting person. Most people have a passion somewhere in their life. Greg was unique. He had many passions. To a point where I would say for him LIFE was a passion. His family was his very first and by far most important passion. Greg had his footprint in many different areas - from the community, the schools, his church, MATC, etc. He will be missed by many people, myself included. Greg, you deserve it now rest in peace.
