Arlene Linder

MADISON - Arlene Marie Linder, age 86, of Madison, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born on Jan. 30, 1935, in Sheboygan, Wis. She was raised in Random Lake Wis., and spent her married life in Madison and Sun Prairie, Wis. She will miss the morning sunrises over Lake Monona with the capitol in the background. Arlene is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Linder; sons, Walter (Connie) Linder and Robert (Theresa) Linder; daughters, Susan (Ken) Parulski and JoAnn (Paul Charlier) Linder; and grandchildren, Chaz Linder, Matthew Parulski, Addison Linder and Reagan Linder. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Mary (Heinen) Karrels; and sisters, Marcella Karrels, Dorothy (Roman) Jungers, Gertrude (Walter) Rettela, Angeline (Albert) Young, Rosemary (Edward) Fruechtl, Bernadine (Michael) Orth and Lucille (Ray) Krier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Ave., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Live Stream of the service can be accessed through the church website at sbmsn.org. Private entombment at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Madison, or St. Bernard Catholic Church.
