Obituary
MADISON - Patrick McGuire, age 52, of Madison, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021. He was born on Dec. 22, 1968, in Kewanee, Ill., the son of Howard McGuire and JoAnn (Moore) McGuire. Patrick graduated from LaFallotte High School in 1987.
Patrick had a special bond with his son Chris, they were inseparable, and they loved doing things together. They loved spending time up in Hurley riding on ATV's and snowmobiles, they also enjoyed fishing and watching action movies and watching Monty Python and Dr Who. Family and friends were the most important thing to Pat, and they meant the world to him.
Patrick is survived by his mother, JoAnn McGuire; his son, Chris McGuire; brother, Peter McGuire; niece, Elizabeth McGuire; nephew, Dan McGuire; sister-in-law, Sue McGuire; former wife, Carri McGuire; and his furry companion, Little Bob.
Pat was preceded in death by his father, Howard McGuire; brother, Christopher McGuire; and stepfather, Bob Frieler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, with Father Randy presiding. Visitation will be held at St. Dennis Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Friday. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com .

I’m deeply sorry to hear of Patrick’s passing. I have fond memories of Howard and his boys (my cousins) and hanging out playing Uno as a kid with them in Fort Atkinson. I connected with Patrick and his son Chris years ago at Little America in Marshall. He was so proud of his son and it showed! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
