Terry M Kleisch

FITCHBURG - Terry Michael Kleisch, age 67, of Fitchburg, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on July 29, 1954, in England, the son of Alfred and Trudy Kleisch. Terry was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He loved his job as a truck driver where he was able to see the country and he loved traveling within the United States. Terry was an avid hunter and fisherman. He volunteered as a hunter safety instructor for 15 years and was recognized by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for his dedication to the program. Terry enjoyed cheering on the Green Bay Packers and especially spending time with his family and friends, who affectionately called him “Opa.” His wife, Sandy, and his grandkids were the loves of his life. Terry is survived by his sons, Kurt Kleisch (girlfriend, Brenda) and Keith (Tracy Jones) Kleisch; friend, Carolyn Kahl; grandchildren, Zeke Kleisch, Kole Kleisch and Jackson Kleisch; four step grandchildren, Trina Jones, Harley Jones, Carly Jones and Ian Jones; and brothers, Roy (Sue) Kleisch and Mike (Renee) Kleisch. Terry is survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Trudy Kleisch; and his wife, Sandy.
