Suzanne C Taylor

COTTAGE GROVE - Suzanne C. Taylor, age 79, of Cottage Grove, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on Sept. 22, 1941, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Clarence and Charlotte Anderson. Suzanne graduated from East High School in Madison in 1959. She married Robert Taylor on Oct. 15, 1960. Suzanne worked at the YMCA for many years. She also enjoyed being a busy homemaker, and entertaining family and friends. She was a very active member of her Model A club preparing the monthly newsletters and planning many tours as well as participating in many parades. She enjoyed planning many of her high school reunions. She had many hobbies and enjoyed boating, quilting, sewing, wood carving, many other different crafts, playing the piano, her dogs, spending time with family and friends, writing her family history and seeing her daughter’s horses especially the foals born each year. Most of all she enjoyed seeing her three grandchildren, spending time with them and sharing jokes. Suzanne is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Tracy (Bill) Buglass; son, Gregory C. (Paula) Taylor; grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley and Christopher Taylor; brother, Robert (Sharon) Anderson; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Maxine R. Spychalski. Private family services will be held. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park, Monona. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin.
