Uncle Bob was my dad's identical twin. My memories are filled with his humor, his kindness, and his generosity. He was always there to help if you needed it. And in life, he was a person who always gave, and never took. He and my dad really enjoyed each other's company, and often fished together at one of Madison's wonder lakes. When I was young, and as an annual ritual, Uncle Bob and my dad would gather some of “the kids” and take us out to fish on trout fishing opening day. It must have been a nightmare for them since we did things like dropped flashlights in the trout stream, snagged our lines on everything, talked too loud, and continually asked when we were going home. It made for many fond, treasured memories.
