One of our treasured memories is our trip to Mackinac Island and running out if gas on a forlorn country road. We did have fun! We send our thoughts and prayers to all of his family. I will always remember his gentle smile.

There are so many memories that mean so much to me with the most cherished being how Dick and Jan invited me into their home, the “cabbage “ to stay for as long as I needed to, to get my life reorganized. They asked no questions, they made no judgements. All they really knew was I was a friend and they had the means to help me. Call it a coincidence if you must, but yesterday, Friday, I’m driving home after work and this memory flashes in my mind. My appreciation for this man, his wife and his loving family cannot fully be expressed. Thank you Dick and Jan, and family. Greg

What a Gentle Soul and Great neighbor, he always took time to talk to us even when cutting his daughters grass, which he loved to do. He helped us a number of times through the years, one time Bill was stuck in the Snow with the Bank Car, he seemed to come out of nowhere, but he helped get him out of the snow. He was a wonderful man and a great friend to Rosemary’s parents also. His kindness will not be forgotten. Jan, we are sorry for your loss and your Family’s loss. You all are in our Thoughts and Prayers The Joyce’s and Olson’s
