Obituary
MADISON - Dan DeRusha, age 67, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He was born on June 22, 1954, in Fond du Lac, the son of Floyd and Alice (Snyder) DeRusha. Dan met Julie Babcock in 2001 and they were married on Aug. 9, 2012.
Dan was known for his sense of humor. He loved to ride his motorcycle, and trips to Sturgis with Julie were always enjoyed.
Dan is survived by his wife, Julie; daughters, Jaime (Jeremy) Henrichs and Emily (Aleks Kozik) DeRusha; son, Danny (Ashton) DeRusha Jr.; grandson, Levi Henrichs; mother-in-law, Jeri Shear; sister-in-law, Jackie Babcock; niece, Melissa (Alex Vacharat) Babcock; and many other friends and relatives. Dan and I have been good friends for almost 20yrs. He is someone I will always remember with alot of great memories and smile. He was a true friend to me and someone I will miss very much. My heart goes out to Julie and his kids during this difficult time.

Prayers to Danny's family. I have known Danny for over 50 years, and it seems like he never changed his uplifting spirit. I have not seen him for years, but when he came to Fondy he always stopped at my business to say hi. He will be sadly missed at our 50th class reunion.

Dan was my 2nd cousin and just a year younger than me. We hung out with the same crowd in high school and he lost touch with his family and friends. I haven't seen or heard from him in years but still loved him 💙 This is so sad, my condolences to his wife and children. RIP Danny 💙
