Kenneth "Ken" Ewald Bachmann

MADISON- Kenneth E. Bachmann, age 72, of Madison, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on April 9, 1949, in Madison, the son of Ewald and Mavis (Fink) Bachmann. Kenneth attended East High School in Madison and was employed in public works for the City of Madison for 35 years. He married Ella Evenson on July 7, 1992, in Las Vegas. Kenneth was a proud member of the C.C. Riders. He was a drummer and a singer and loved 50s and 60s music. Kenneth loved to travel all over the world. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Ella; daughter, Serena Gilmore; son, Ken Gilmore, Jr.; sister, Marilyn Barker; favorite cousin, Linda (Greg) Gardner; and four-legged canine companion, Ruby. Ken further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of life will be held at VFW POST No. 7591, 301 Cottage Grove Road, Madison, from 12 noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021.
