Obituary

MADISON - Nancy Carol Hahn, age 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Nancy was born on March 15, 1942, in Marshfield, Wis., to Ernest and Arline Jensen. Nancy grew up on the family farm in Pittsville, Wis. On February 23, 1963, she was united in marriage to Richard Hahn. The couple lived in Pittsville, Wis. for a time, moving to Windsor, Wis. in the early 1970s where they remained for over 50 years.

Nancy's life was centered on her family. As a mother, she was a constant source of comfort and support, always ready with a listening ear or a helping hand. She very much enjoyed family reunions, where she could visit, laugh, and exchange stories. In her retirement, her greatest joy was being a grandma. She cherished her grandchildren and was very proud of them.

In her final years, Nancy found a second family at Sunset Ridge Memory Care. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their exceptional love and support.

Nancy is survived by her children, Kimberly Hahn and Amie (Scott) Mink; grandchildren, Sopheea Mink, Isabella Mink and Kyan Renz; siblings, Roger (Bonnie) Jensen, Jerry Jensen, James (Helen) Jensen and Randy (Beth Cantrell) Jensen; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents, Ernest and Arline; sister, Alice Fay; brother-in-law, Kenneth Fay; and sister-in-law, Ellen Jensen.

A memorial service will be held at ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 8313 2nd St., Pittsville, at 12 noon on Monday, March 30, 2026. Burial will take place at Mound Cemetery, Pittsville. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.

I send my sympathy to Nancy’s entire family. I have special memories of her when we would visit the Pittsville area with my parents growing up and later at reunions. She and Dick were very special people and I very much enjoyed conversations with them both. My love to you all at this difficult time💕
