I use to deliver furniture to Jim at MGE he was one of my all time favorite customers. I missed him after he retired

Jim was one of my favorite customers and business friends. I will always deeply appreciate how supportive he was during the time I was planning to found my new business in 1984; in particular something he told me during a conversation in the early days. Jim said “Greg, I have NO DOUBT your business will succeed and thrive in time. We’re only one customer, but I know Lerdahl is going to make it.” Rest In peace, my friend.

I knew Jim through our International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) Chapter, and as a long term customer. He was personable, kind and caring - always taking the time to have a personal conversation with those around him. Jim saw the big picture and motivated others to see it and align with it.
