Doris was the first person that I met at the Middleton Senior Center when I started. She volunteered for so many activities and she took me under her wing and taught me to always treat people with respect and a smile. Anyone coming into the Senior Center was greeted with her friendly spirit and smile. She was so genuine in her concern for others. She was one of the Volunteers that was honored in front of the City Council for all her hours she put in at the Center. I will miss her friendship and her kindness. She was one in a million and I'm glad she came into my life.

Ms. Schroeder was known as a stern but fair Principal...she was respected by all. Safe to say, she was ahead of her time. You done good in your time on earth, Ms. Schroeder! You left a wonderful footprint. From a student at MHS in the early 70's. Daryl Simms
