Obituary
ARLINGTON - Helen B. Rhiner, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. She was born on May 9, 1934, in Arlington, the daughter of Wilbert and Margaret (Startin) Lintner.
Helen graduated from Madison East High School. She married Kenneth Rhiner on October 15, 1955. She was a member of the Arlington United Methodist Church, Columbia County Farm Bureau, and the Red Hatters.
Helen enjoyed pony cart rides with the kids on Sundays, boating as a family, snowmobiling, loved playing euchre, was a member of the Neighborhood Card Club, visiting people, gardening, baking, bike riding with friends, she did 19 VIM trips, sleepovers with her grandkids, wintering in Florida, but loved most of all working side by side with her husband and children on the farm.
Helen is survived by two daughters, Becky (Ralph) Levzow and Diane (Allen) Meixner; two sons, Kermit (Jana) Rhiner and Gary Rhiner; five grandchildren, Amanda (Ryan) Seichter, Kenneth Levzow, Sheena (Ryan) Ringelstetter, Jared Meixner, and Trevor Meixner; three great-grandchildren, Bristol, Reagan, and Ben Ringelstetter; and two sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Rhiner and Shirley (Lloyd) Lueschow. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth and her sister, Lavina Storandt.
Funeral Service will be held at ARLINGTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 103 Reagles St., Arlington, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021, with Michele Hopp presiding. Burial will be held at Arlington Evangelical Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. The church strongly encourages face masks. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to; Red Cross Blood Bank, Wisconsin Public Broadcast Service (PBS), Arlington United Methodist Church, and Agrace HospiceCare.

My heart goes out to Helen's family. I was a friend of Helen's for many, many years and have many happy memories of spending time with her. We met in in junior high school. Helen taught me how to roller skate and we often went roller skating out by Truax Field. Later on we went on double dates, and I brought Ken along once as her date, that is how they met. Tom and I enjoyed visiting Helen and Ken in Arlington. Carole Nelson

My deepest sympathy to Becky, Diane, Kermit and Gary and your families. I have so many fond memories of your Mom - her distinctive laugh, willingness to do and try anything...particularly if it was fun, her love of the farm, and big heart. There were so many wonderful times spent being around her. She and your Dad's visit to see me in Toronto, along with my folks, will always be a highlight. Helen was family and I will miss her. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
