The world has lost a wonderful person. It is with great sadness that we report that Carolyn Louise Glad died peacefully at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2022. She was such a special person.

Carolyn was born on Jan. 26, 1927. She attended Purdue University where she met and married Paul Glad in 1948.

Carolyn is survived by four children, Thomas, Susan, Richard and Steven; as well as numerus grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carolyn was the glue that held everything together. She had skills that often went unrecognized. She could cook, sow, run the household, help run a successful jewelry business and unbeknownst to her family became a savvy investor which has provided invaluable support to her family. Carolyn had empathy for everyone and cared deeply for all. She was just a genuinely good person in every aspect. She will be missed greatly and fondly remembered.
