I don't even know where to begin I'm just getting really miss you being around I'm going to miss the times that we shared together and I'm going to miss the conversations that you and I have had but especially when you used to come over to my dad's house Hangout with me and my sister all the time those are great memories that I will always cherish rest in peace beautiful and I will see you again someday and I cannot wait for that day to come

Kate was like a sister to me for about ten years when I was dating her oldest Brother Nathan. I got to know her well and spent lots of time with her as a friend and a sister. Even as a teenager anyone that knew her felt her old soul. She was always someone that people could talk to about anything at all and she would always listen so intently. Offering comfort and advice along with love and friendship. Kate was someone you felt lucky to know and have in your life. She was always kind and extremely giving of her time and energy to those that she loved and even to a stranger in need. She never spoke unkind words about anyone and always saw the glass half full. Even through her own struggles through life, which we all have, she always seemed to maintain a positive outlook on life and the future. She was smart, beautiful, kind, selfless, and truly an amazing person in every way. Katelyn loved her family and she was always very close to her family members. She put her family first as family was the most important thing to her always. The bond and love she shared with her two brothers always amazed me. They rarely argued if at all and they always supported and defended each other. Kate was greatly inspired by music and the Arts, she had many interests and loved setting goals for herself which she always reached through hard work and dedication to whatever it was she set her mind to. In her deep adoration for her Mother and Aunts she wanted to follow in their footsteps and be a nurse. It takes a very special person to do that kind of selfless service, she was someone that I always felt would thrive helping others. She had such a close loving, strong bond with her parents. I always envied the closeness and love she shared with both her parents. Not everyone gets to have a family as close and loving as the one she had and she never took that for granted. I know that she is in Heaven and is now a Guardian Angel watching over her two beautiful children and family. I will forever keep her family in my Prayers and always have fond memories of the time I got to know and spend with her as a friend and a sister. Rest In Peace Katelyn, you will forever be loved and cherished by all who knew you and those who’s lives you touched with your big kind heart. Until we meet again on the other side, I love you.
