I recall Tony very fondly from his work in Kansas City. He always had a very calm and reassuring approach to his work, and was brought in on the tough challenges. He was very dedicated and trustworthy. I’m very sorry to hear of his passing and hope the best for his family and kids. Tony made a difference and he will be missed. Todd Hatton

I was saddened to hear this news. I worked with Tony at the University of Rochester. He would come to the office every other week, he would walk in with his backpack, his breakfast and his smile. Loved his sense of humor, he always made me smile, laugh...say, "oh, Tony!" As he traveled often, it wasn't unusual to get a call after he left to check his desk for any forgotten fruit to through out. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

My name is Christine Quinn, and I had the great pleasure of working with Tony at the University of Rochester for over a year in 2019-2010. His wry humor and support got me through some very stressful times in the implementation period of our project. I will never forget his good natured teasing, and how satisfying it was when I was able to tease him back with a "gotcha" and see that giant grin. He could take it as well as he dished it out in the good humor department. He spoke of his family all the time, and it was clear that they were his whole world. My heart hurts to think of how hard it must have been to leave them. I am so sorry for your loss. It was a privilege and honor to have known Tony.

Dr Tony is missed today and remembered always! Goofy grin. Jokes that hit you an hour later. No Italian food please. Except that Italian restaurant in Rochester was exceptional. Dr Tony touched us all. And his quiet dynamo charged and changed so many lives improving healthcare one system at a time. Grateful to know and work with Tony...miss you friend
