I personally didn’t know Jessica, and I’m very very sorry for your loss and I deeply feel for her as well. I am a struggling addict myself trying to do the right thing alone and it’s definitely not easy. I can honestly say though even though she was an addict just by this obituary I can tell she was truly loved and will be very deeply missed and seemed like an amazing woman. I just wanted to say though in all honesty this obituary I think should go viral I completely admire the honesty in this letting people know that she was Human and struggled even though she was a good person this can and does happen to Anyone and it can also take anyone at anytime so offer a positive helping hand to someone struggling so we don’t see more tragedies like this. Thank you for sharing your family’s struggle I’m so sorry she couldn’t beat the demon I pray daily that I hope I can. May she finally rest peacefully and I pray you all have a positive move Forward from here with good memories.

I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the outcome of Jessica's battle with addiction. She was a bright light to her daughters and I so enjoyed seeing them walk through town to go to the park. They were always having an adventure and the joyful trio made me smile. I trust that the honesty of her obituary may help others. Her daughters must always know that their mom was admired by many for her kindness, compassion, and strength.

I applaud your truth in this obituary, It may very well help another person, as addiction is a horrible disease. Anyone with an opiate addiction should strongly consider suboxone, when all else seems to fail. I had an addiction to pain medication, luckily never made the transition to heroin. But suboxone changed my life, it is not always the answer, but it may be yours. RIP mama, from another softball lover to another. https://www.samhsa.gov/medication-assisted-treatment/practitioner-program-data/treatment-practitioner-locator

Tim and Kelly, my thoughts and prayers are with you both. I knew of Jessica's struggles, but I also knew how much of a champion you were while supporting her. She was very much loved, and she knew it. God bless you all.
