January 15, 1930 - October 26, 2026
Obituary
Patricia L. “Pat” Frazier, age 96, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026, in Middleton, Wis. Her family was incredibly fortunate to know and love her across five generations.
Pat was born on January 15, 1930, to Milnor Lowry and Velma (Vivian) Lowry. She graduated from Fennimore High School in 1948, and the following year she married Ishmael L. Frazier in Elizabeth City, N.C. Together, Pat and Ishmael built a life centered on family, hard work, adventure, and many treasured memories. Pat worked for AT&T for 25 years.
One of Pat’s most meaningful accomplishments was the resort she and Ishmael owned up north, Ish and Pat’s Booth Lake Landing. They poured their hearts into it together, and it became the setting for many of the family’s favorite memories. It always held a special place in her heart.
Pat embraced life with curiosity and creativity. She loved to travel and see new places, and she especially enjoyed spending her winters in Florida. An avid reader, she was also a talented acrylic painter whose work earned awards and recognition. Many members of her family proudly display her paintings in their homes—treasured reminders of her creativity that will continue to fill those homes with her love for years to come.
A people person through and through, Pat loved to socialize, visit, and stay connected with family, friends, and neighbors. She took a genuine interest in the lives of those around her and always wanted to hear how everyone was doing. Her family will always smile remembering how much she treasured conversation, connection, and the people in her life.
Over her 96 years, Pat gathered something special to share: perspective. She lived through remarkable change, and her stories offered a window into a world younger generations knew only from history books. Through a lifetime of raising a family, working, traveling, enduring loss, and celebrating milestones, she gained wisdom she generously passed along. Because of Pat, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren share a personal connection to the generations that came before them.
Above all, Pat cherished her family. She was blessed to embrace and love five generations, and her family had the gift of knowing her, learning from her, and making memories with her. Her greatest legacy lives on in the people she loved most, in the stories they will keep telling, and in the pieces of Pat they will always carry with them.
Patricia is survived by her children, Kathleen Gragg, Denise Davis, and Michael Frazier; grandchildren, Neil (Kelli) Gragg, Kyle (Emi) Davis, Janet (Jason) Hatch, and McKinzie (James) McGregor; great-grandchildren, Brittany Gragg, Erin (Seth) Freeman, Emily (Izaac) Bauman, Logan Gragg, Ande Frazier, Bjorn McGregor, Astrid McGregor, and Elias Michael McGregor; and great-great-grandchildren, Grayson Gragg, Sawyer Freeman, Lennox Freeman, Vera Freeman, Harmony Bauman, Miles Bauman, and Baby Bauman, due in December.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ishmael; her parents, Milnor and Velma; her brother, Keith; her sister, Nila; her granddaughter, Heather Frazier; and her grandson, Brian Gragg.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2026, at GUNDERSON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens.
Pat’s family will forever be grateful for the gift of having her in their lives for so many years. Her 96 years were filled with travels, paintings, stories, lessons, and love that spanned generations. Saying goodbye leaves an immeasurable absence, but her life and love are woven deeply into the family she leaves behind. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
