Obituary
MADISON - Our loving son, Brian J. Penisten, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021, from heart disease. He was born on Dec. 8, 1970, in Madison, to Donald and Darlene (Uphoff) Penisten.
Brian graduated from East High School in 1989 and joined the U.S. Army in September. After Basic and AIT, he was stationed in Germany. During Desert Shield/Storm he was in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq. Once he returned home, he went to work at Becton Dickenson until it closed.
Brian enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and sitting around the campfire with family or friends.
Brian is survived by his parents; his special son, Ayden; sister, Linda; niece, Brianna (Ryan); nephew, Vincent; great-niece, Sophia; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings, David, Daniel and Kelly.
Services will be private. His final resting place will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com .

Brian was my friend over 18 years....Brian was one of the kindest and most caring and anyone who knew him liked him immediately. I can not imagine the pain his mom dad sister and Ayden are going through...He had a beautiful smile for everyone and could get a laugh with a stupid joke that only he could tell .... I will miss him forever and will never stop caring and thinking of Brian...Heaven just got a new Angel and Brian will be busy watching Ayden grow .....Ayden just look to the Clouds and you will see your dad.....or the biggest star at night....Love you Brian for being you Love Kelly

I think of Brian as a sweet, kind and easy going kid. I watched him play baseball & go horse back riding with my sons I was so proud of him for his service to our country; saying many prayers for his well being. He was raised in a beautiful, loving family. My sincere condolences to his mom, dad, sister and son. Linda B

Dear Don and Darlene, I had your phone and email in my phone and then it crashed a few years ago. It seems that I can't look up your address or phone online for free either. I would love to talk to you and express how very sorry I am about Brian. I know exactly how you are feeling. You were so gracious to call me when Lance died and after George died too. I am truly sorry for your loss. I served with Brain in Germany, and and Desert Storm/Shield. He always made everyone laugh. He was a great person and a true hero. Don
