Hi, my mom (Lorene (Hecker) Devine went to grade school and high school with Dorothy and lived with her in Milwaukee for a semester before they both qualified for the cadet nursing corps- mom went to Wausau and Dorothy went to Marshfield in the spring of 1945. We just discovered that Dorothy died a year ago. Mom was sad to hear she had passed- but sounds like she had such a rich life! Here is a pic from middle school!
