Rosemary Hanna

BELLEVILLE - Rosemary Hanna, age 90, of Belleville, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on Sept. 5, 1930, in Appleton, Minn., the daughter of Howard and Mabel (Briggs) Evans. Rosemary graduated from Mount Horeb High School in 1948. She married Norman (Butch) Hanna on June 16, 1951, at the Mount Horeb Lutheran Church. This June would have been Rosie and Norm’s 70th wedding anniversary. Rosemary did administrative work for Mount Horeb Ford Garage, then Ohio Medical Company until retirement. Rosemary was a member of Primrose Lutheran Church, Primrose Lutheran Ladies Aid and was a Primrose Lutheran Church volunteer with the church suppers and Sunday school teaching. She enjoyed golfing and bowling in her early years, traveling, reading, coffee chats with family and friends and holiday baking (lefse, krumkaka and cookies). Rosemary is survived by her husband, Norman Hanna; daughters, Suzanne (John P.) Klumb and Renee Joette (Dale) Ketelboeter; grandchildren, Nate (Cheyenne) Klumb, Paul (Cassy) Klumb, Zachary (Hannah) Ketelboeter and Jeremy Ketelboeter; great-grandchildren, Braylon, Jemah, Gunner, Morgan, Madex, Sully and Kassidy; and great-granddogs, Holly, Captain, Prim, Rose, Maddy, Chappo, Noka and Dozer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Mabel Evans. A special thank you to her caregivers, Brenda Jelle, Sierra Whisler and Brenda Parrell.
