Obituary
BARABOO - April C. Jones, age 60, of Baraboo, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on October 9, 1960, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Franklin III. and Constance (Rockman) Jones.
April is a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation. She was an avid guitar player and loved all types of music. She was a people person, and her personality will be deeply missed by many.
April is survived by her children, Brittany Robertson and Bobby Jones; husband, Ronald Hicks; sisters, Jennifer Jones and Marlene Peterson; brother, Christian Jones; niece, Amber Jones; great-nephew, Aedyn; stepmother, Ferne Szulc; and many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Bobby Robertson Sr.; brothers, Franklin Jones IV and Kevin Jones; and grandparents, Grover Rockman and Bessie WhiteEagle of Wittenberg.
A gathering will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021.

April loved music and playing guitar and singing.. we used to sing together real loud to Janis Joplin! We had so much fun together and loved nature we used to go for short hikes to places in the dells and we canoe a few times .. please share your memories of sister so We can smile and reflect on her beautiful gift of creating memories.

She was always saying sherry drink a beer with me she lived at the evergreens apt . I got drunk with her and followed her all over the apartment complex saying April I love you so much and she would say I know it sherry and I would says but April you don't know how much I love you. She. Kept apartment hopping trying to shake me off her tail but I followed her all night long telling her how much I loved her. One thing is for sure she definitely knew I loved her.loved her
