Dotti and Family, These past few years have been so hard. We've prayed for you every week in church in the Grove, knowing each day gets tougher and tougher. We cherish memories of Bill and his teachings of Jesus. He made a big impression on our daughter and as I shared the news of his passing, she stayed that HE was her favorite pastor. We know that Bill now has no pain, has clarity of mind, and is enjoying a spirited Blue Chair Chat with God! How wonderful to imagine. May God comfort you all, Peace and love, Cheryl and David Peterson Janesville, WI

Dearest Dotti and family; Bill's gentleness and his calm comforting demeanor were his trademarks as one of the most genuine people I have ever known. We taught together at UWW for 30 years and I learned so much from him about being person-centered due to his living his faith outwardly on a daily basis. Bill's focus on Academic Advising was an inspiration and garnered National attention for being a proactive resource for our students to fulfill their academic goals in a timely manner. He and Dotti were such sweet and engaging friends. They made anyone lucky enough to be in their presence feel completely at home, wherever they were. Rest in peace, dear friend. A line in one of my favorite books is "All beginnings are hard." That was true for me when I joined the communication faculty at UW-W in 2002. However, Bill was one of my go-to's for kindness, friendliness, and a lovely, upbeat conversation. Thank you, Bill for how you helped me. S.A. Welch, professor emerita.

Bill was my teacher in 1995 at UW-Whitewater and I think about him often. He not only taught information that I have directly used in my career, but the way he taught had a major impact on me as an educator myself and as a person. I feel blessed to have known and worked with him. Rest in peace, you are now home with the Lord. Steve Martin Class of 1995 UW-Whitewater

Dotti, Bill was my speech teacher at UW Whitewater and was always so kind. I also enjoyed working with both of you at the credit union on campus. I know there are many others besides myself who were grateful to have known such a wonderful human being. Peace to you and your family during this difficult time. Denise Kaminski
