Obituary
DeForest - Mary Wollin, age 76, of DeForest, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Tender Reflections. She was born on May 20, 1944, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Max L. Elmer and Doris A. (Sweetwood) Elmer.
Mary graduated from Monona Grove High School. Prior to retirement she worked as a caretaker. Mary had a great sense of humor and was a very independent woman. She loved SciFi movies, playing Euchre, and going to the casino. Mary loved to walk and always enjoyed getting hugs and kisses from her family. She also loved animals, especially her cats!
Mary is survived by her son, Max (Victoria Lynn Stendahl) Dunn; two daughters, Bonnie (Donald) Kurtzweil and Arlene “Jodi” Dunn; sister, Betsy Elmer; three grandsons, Tony A. (Michelle) Hugill, Joshua (Kristina) Dunn and Joseph (Danni) Dunn; granddaughters, Sheena (James) Zerkle and Jazmine Dunn; and great-grandchild, Jackson Zerkle. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be held at HIGHLAND MEMORY GARDENS, 3054 County Road BB, Cottage Grove, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

I will always remember us going to the Roller Dome to roller skate. They would announce couples skate and you would take me by the hand. You hung on tight to make sure I didn't fall. We will skate again when we're joined again in Heaven Sis. I love you. Picture is from senior picture in high school.
