We had such good times with both of your parents. I will always remember Joanne and enjoyed visiting with her on the phone.

Our deepest sympathy to the family. Joe and I graduated from Mt. Horeb High with Brian, but remember Jeff and Lori as well. As a dental hygienist, I cleaned Joanne’s teeth many times and enjoyed “catch-up” and hearing what was going on with the family and her memories of early days at UW Madison. Best wishes to all as you adjust to life without her. She will be missed. Sue and Joe Trainor

I wanted to post the lyrics to "One Day" as I remember my mom. One day there'll be no more waiting left for our souls One day there'll be no more children longing for home One day when the kingdom comes right here where we stand We will see the promised land, mmm One day there'll be no more lives taken too soon One day there'll be no more need for a hospital room One day every tear that falls will be wiped by His hand We will see the promised land, mmm Hallelujah, there will be healing From this heartbreak we've been feeling We'll sing in the darkest night 'Cause we know that the light will come And there will be healing, hallelujah One day there'll be no more anger left in our eyes One day the color of our skin won't cause a divide One day we'll be family, standing hand in hand And we will see the promised land, we will see the promised land Hallelujah, there will be healing From this heartbreak we've been feeling We'll sing in the darkest night 'Cause we know that the light will come And there will be healing, hallelujah Ooh, yeah I believe there will be healing, hallelujah One day every knee will bow, every tongue will confess One day when our tired and weary bones find their rest One day when the power of evil is brought to an end We will see the promised land, we will see the promised land Hallelujah, there will be healing From this heartbreak we've been feeling We'll sing in the darkest night 'Cause we know that the light will come And there will be healing, hallelujah And there will be healing, hallelujah And there will be healing, hallelujah Source: Musixmatch Songwriters: Matthew Armstrong / Bryan Fowler / Michael Cochren Mom is now home in the Promised Land. Lori was in my class while the Fiedler family lived in Mount Horeb. They were staying in my neighborhood while building their home. I would ride my bike across town to check on the progress and Joni would be digging, hauling, always outside. Every single child in the family was friendly, fun, and social. That is saying multitudes of the character and upbringing that Joni provided.
