Obituary
MADISON - Daisy L. Lokken, age 85, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Sept. 3, 1935, in Dixon, Mo., the daughter of Herman and Carrie (Hale) Crismon.
Daisy graduated from Dixon High School in Dixon Mo. She worked as an Occupational Therapist Assistant for Colonial Manor Nursing Home for 33 years.
Daisy was an avid collector of stamps, bells and lighthouses. She enjoyed listening to Roger Miller, reading romantic novels and doing crossword puzzles and puzzles. Daisy loved cheering for the Brewers and her home state team, the St. Louis Cardinals. She got excited about traveling with her group of high school friends. Daisy’s children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and grand pups and cats were her pride and joy and she loved them with all her heart.
Daisy is survived by her three daughters, Katherine (Jim) Wacek, Debbie Lokken and Carrie (Kent) Cain; one granddaughter, Elyse Cain; two grandsons, Luke (Denise) Wacek and Nathan (Tammy) Wacek; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Tyler, Ajah; sister, Katherine (Bill) Frazier; brother, Jesse (Clarice) Emmons; five brothers-in-law, Dennis (Mary) Lokken, Paul (Mert) Lokken, Glenn (Janice) Lokken, Jerry (Lynn) Lokken and Donald Lokken; seven sisters-in-law, Sylvia Lokken, Carol (Peter) Riphahn, Janice Lokken, Linda Palzkill, Marilyn Wood, Donna Moreno and Thelma Lokken; and her ex-husband, Duane (Josie) Lokken.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lorraine (Hershel) Copeland and Vera (Kenneth) Vassalli; brother, Bob (Jean) Crismon; two sisters-in-law, Doris (Art) Paulson and Ginny Lokken; and three brothers-in-law, Otis Lokken, Robert Lokken and Don Palzkill.
A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 21, 2021. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.

I worked with Daisy 30 years ago at Colonial Manor. She was a character, making work fun! We would occasionally all meet at her house for a cocktail after our night shift, back when we both worked nights. To her family, my condolences.
