Debra Ann Fisher

MADISON - Debra Ann Fisher, age 61, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Debra was born in Madison in 1959 and graduated from LaFollette High School in 1978. She met the love of her life, Milton, and they were married on Aug. 10, 1985. Debra worked for the City of Madison for 25 years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and lover of dogs. Debra enjoyed spending time with her family and being outdoors. She was a fabulous cook, greatly enjoyed sewing in her retirement, and was a passionate bingo player. After the passing of her daughter, Debra also organized a successful fundraiser for SIDS research and supported various animal related causes. Debra is survived by her husband, Milton Fisher; her son, Christopher (Victoria) Fisher; brothers, Donald Tobias Jr., and Daniel Tobias; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sara Fisher; her parents, Donald and Lorraine Tobias; and her sister, Donna (Tobias) Gardner. A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021, with Pastor Tom Flaherty presiding. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held at the funeral home, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
