Michael Zmich

MADISON - Michael Robert Zmich, age 62, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021, at his home in Madison, Wis. He was born in Chicago, Ill., on Nov. 17, 1958, the son of Robert and Barbara (Dywart) Zmich of Chicago. Michael proudly served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1975-1981, with his active duty taking him overseas and he finished his tour in Camp LeJeune, N.C. He was Honorably discharged as Corporal. Michael enjoyed the outdoors, his dogs, loved fishing, music, and listening to classic rock and roll "Loud." He enjoyed riding his Harley any time he could get. Michael had an incredible sense of humor with the biggest heart and would help anyone at any time putting his own needs last. Michael is survived by his brother, Bob (Angie) of Canton, Ga.; sister, Ramona (Zmich) Hill of Montello, Wis.; nephews, Rob (Senica) of Georgia, Brian Zmich of Florida, Dakota (Delia) Hill of Westfield, and Garrett and Chloe Hill of St Petersburg, Fla.; niece, Estelle Funk of Portage, Wis.; grand-nephews, Jaxon, Wyatt and Beckam; along with many relatives and friends.
