I was saddened to read of Gene’s death. For many years we lived down the block on 2nd Street in Milwaukee. As neighbors we shared many games of hide and seek and statue maker. I remember Gene as a Policeman on Wisconsin Avenue near Peacock Shoes. Always a gentle soul. We reconnected with Donna some years ago also. Prayers for all. Rose Walker Wiberg

Gene was one of my favorite people. He served the public for most of his life, as a police officer. We are so glad that we were able to celebrate his 90th birthday with him, and to have cousin’s lunch dates in the summer. He was exceptionally kind to my mother and grandmother. Gene provided me with one of my favorite memories as a teenager. Gene gave Jerry Van Slyke and me tickets to a Milwaukee Braves game that were front row , by the Braves dugout. I was able to tell him how much I appreciated that at his birthday celebration. His family is in our thoughts and prayers 🙏🙏 Larry and Mary Ellen
