My condolences sent to family. I have many wonderful, fun memories from our time together at Meriter, traveling to the Longaberger Bee and, of course, the honor of being “Best Woman” at Karen and Barry’s wedding. RIP my dear friend.❤️

It is with sadness that I've learned today of Karen's passing. Karen and I worked together at Madison General/Meriter while I was stationed on 7 North, the Pediatrics inpatient unit and Pediatric intensive care. Karen was a great colleague, supervisor and especially a friend. It is again with sadness that I had not kept in touch after I left Meriter in 1988. It with my deepest sympathy and heart felt condolences that I think of you all at this difficult time. God Bless you all and give you strength and beautiful memories to share with each other. I'm so sorry. We had so many fun times together. I met Karen when I was 19. That was a while ago. Barry, Michelle, Laura and Brett, my sincere sympathy. I will miss her.
