GRAND MARSH-Wendy Lee Tiede, age 64, of Grand Marsh, passed away on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on July 28,1958, in Madison, the daughter of Leo and Rachel Fay.


Wendy was a member of Hope Lutheran Church where she actively enjoyed volunteering with several luncheons and bazaars over the years making cookies and managing the kitchen. She enjoyed sewing, taking road trips, canning and spending time with family and knitting. There was never a day you didn't see her without her knitting needles.


Wendy is survived by her husband, James; daughters, Laurie Janutolo of Cottage Grove, Wis., and Margaret Tiede (Jennifer) of Boyceville, Wis., Peter Janutolo.; granddaughters, Lydia (Austin), Danialle, Sandra and Haylee; sister, Mary (Pat) Fahey; aunts and uncles, Ronald and Christine Wheeler and Barbara Wheeler; brother-in-law, David Tiede; sisters-in-law, Ann (Sia) Majidi, Susan (David) Vondra and Patricia Tiede; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great- nieces, and great-nephews. Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, brother, father-in-law, mother-in-law and uncle.


A visitation will be held at Gunderson Funeral and Cremation Care, 5203 Monona Drive Madison from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022. An additional visitation will be held at HOPE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3702 County Road AB, McFarland, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov.21, 2022. Burial to immediately follow at Hope Lutheran Cemetery. Lunch will be provided at Hope Lutheran Church following the burial. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

The last time we got to go do something with Wendy and Jim was the Mallards game in July of 2021 and as you can see she was knitting! We will miss you Wendy! Prayers for the family. 🙏🙏 Your friends from Hope ... Gary and Patty Keip and family.
