Obituary

Ae Vang was born on May 11, 1986, in Thailand to Yang Vang and Kia Xiong. He was the third of six children born to the couple. As a child he immigrated with his family to the United States, settling in Madison Wisconsin. Ae attended Madison East High School. He was the proud father of three children Andrew, Andy, and Angelina. He passed away unexpectedly following a collision on 27 February 2021. Family forever is what Ae valued most. It is what restored his strength and faith during challenging times. His three children were his backbone. They are the reason he worked hard in life and no matter where they were, he always did his best to be there for them. Ae’s hobbies included fixing cars, and spending time with his children. Ae is survived by his parents Yang Vang and Kia Xiong of Madison, his brothers Neng (Chee Vue) Vang, Chia Vang, and Peter Vang, his sisters Jade Vang and Pachia Vang, his children Andrew, Andy, and Angelina Vang, three nieces Christa Vang, Yanyu Vang, and Ivy Vang, and his nephew Jasper Vang. Funeral services were held Saturday, 13 March 2021 at Gunderson Madison Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Drive, Monona WI 53716, and were conducted by Bishop Ryan Spencer of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Private Interment was held Monday, 15 March 2021 at Forest Hill Cemetery, 1 Speedway Rd. Madison WI 53705.
