I was fortunate enough to have MB in a chapter of my life. I first met her at DQ in Fitchburg when I moved to Madison in 2005. I got to share many forms of work with her over the years from subs, to ice cream, to decorating cakes, and even festival’s. Between Milio’s on North St. to Johnson she was always the light and love in every room she was in. Even on the tensest, and most difficult days, she was the light. She was the spark of positivity that we always needed. The loss of MB comes as a shock having just lost my mother two weeks ago. MB was a mother to all of us that got to hang out, or work with her. My heart goes out to Scott, Timm, and Kaylee; all of whom I got to share my time in the restaurant business with, and I’m glad I did. I wouldn’t know what I know now without them. The life, and love of a strong mother can never be replaced, and that relationship is so personal with each individual affected. I know she was an incredibly proud wife, mother, and grandmother. Strength to you all.
