My condolences to Shawn and Tracy and the entire family. I had the pleasure of meeting Kit once, and she was such a welcoming personality. Like you knew each other already.

We are mourning and missing this sweet soul. Kit was so great! She loved to read, raised four amazing boys into men, loved deeply, kept things disturbingly tidy all the time (how did she do that?!), was a master of getting children to do what they should, didn’t like to use the dishwasher other than to store pots and pans, and had the best one-liners and sense of humor. She will be greatly missed. We love you all! ~The Velpel Family
