One quote and also one verse of a song come to mind when I think of Sheryl: "I don't sing because I'm happy. I'm happy because I sing." -William James "No storm can shake my inmost calm, while to that refuge clinging. Since Christ is Lord of heaven and earth, how can I keep from singing?" -Robert Wadsworth Lowery. Sheryl brought joy to so many with her singing and through the sharing of her love for music. My fondest memories are of her singing solos in church and as an alto in the church choir...always with a smile on her face. It is fitting that her faith and music sustained her until the end. Thank you for the joy, Sheryl. Much love. d'neece

Sheryl was such a lovely, beautiful soul. I had the privilege of singing with her in the Unkalungs for many, many years. She was just one of those people who brought light wherever she was. Always so kind and encouraging. Sing with the angels, Sheryl!

I had the amazing opportunity to work with Sheryl for several years at Westside Elementary School in Sun Prairie. Our classrooms were right next to each other for most of my time at Westside and I always appreciated her warm smile and positivity, the beautiful music from her classroom, and observing her connections with students. She was a gift; a truly beautiful soul. I had not seen Sheryl for several years, but have thought of her often. I live in McFarland and the Renslo's are cherished in this community. Blessings and peace to Sheryl's family.
