Phil was a great coworker and one that a lot of us relied on for advice on both the Tomotherapy and Cyberknife platforms. Phil kept reminding me about an early event in our time working together. I was testing my first Tomo machine and mentioned that I would like to have the machine have some issues so I could learn more. Well that machine more than cooperated and with that machine and many more Phil was there sharing advice and a few jokes too. You will be missed heavily in our work and hearts Phil. God Bless.

Phil shared videos of Justin as a 1 year old and always asked me about my son who turns 2 in a week. Such a caring father, husband, and friend.. He will be missed very much!

This world has prematurely lost a gentle, kind, and erudite man. I was there when Phil and Elaine first met. He called her his angel. He was head over heels from Day 1. Phil was a doting father from the first day Justin was born. He told me once that crying did not bother him one bit and he could rock a baby for as long as his baby needed rocking. I never saw him frustrated. He was thoughtful and pleasant to everyone. I'm so thankful I got to visit with Phil in August 2019 and to see for myself how happy and contented he was with his family, his job, Madison, and life. The few times I exchanged messages with him since that visit reminded me how observant and intelligent he was. I was overjoyed to think that he had walked away from COVID - a virus he took every precaution against but was infected anyway - but like so many others, his life was not spared by this devastating disease. I'm so sorry, Elaine and Justin, and all other family members I don't know. He was a bright light.

Phil in the center at a work picnic a few years back — a good friend and a good engineer. RIP.
